The Sacred Well Necklace

I think of ancient wells and springs when studying this necklace. The vintage elements are reminiscent of offerings left to the goddess and spirits of waterways, pools, wells and rivers during the Bronze Age.
These beads come from around the globe, chosen for their tactile and contemplative qualities. Run them through your fingers and experience the textures, colors, and patterns.
The primary focus is an original artisan bead created by glass artist Stevie Belle. Its patterning is organic in mood, and reminiscent of details found in my watercolors. One side is rounded while the other falls flat against the wearer’s heart.
Other beads include hand made polymer clay, African jade, marble, chalcedony, amethyst, Czech crystal, Russian chrysocola, and vintage African brass beads featuring sun symbols and antiqued cylinders. This piece will compliment a variety of clothing.
