2 Pendants in one. This miniature work of art features a component from one of my giclees on both sides.
When I imagine the sort of imagery fairie or elvish folk might incorporate into their adornments, this is one technique that comes to my mind. Swirling, graceful motifs and line work echoing their magical realms; whirlpools, spiderwebs, sun light reflected in dew drops, cicada wings, seed pods and stars.
The art is framed in antique bronze, encases in Pyrex glass for safety and durability.
The beads are fluorite, vintage Czech, amethyst in shades of spring and summer meadows.
I placed beads of flawless faceted quartz next to the neck clasp so the wearer will always see what’s coming up behind here as clearly as what’s before her upon her life path.
