Goddess of Light II
Antique opalescent white beads from Africa , blue Czech
beads (with a subtle swirl of rose wafting like smoke within),
Hill Tribe silver spacers, Goddess Light Within pendant. Sterling
clasp.
This image is for women connected with or in the process of strengthening
their connection with the divine. It celebrates liberation from
ego, illusion, ideologies. While few of us ever attain this ideal,
but its something to strive for, and in this we emulate the ancient goddess
traditions of honoring the inner self, the Divine Feminine. The
colors of this chakra necklace honor the inner eye. This is a part of
us that, goddess –like,
observes situations and the energy flowing through them with
clarity, light seconds before the mind jumps in to analyze, label,
and react. The white beads have a peachy opalescent spirit glow that glows
from within when sparked by light. The large blue beads, upon
close inspection have delicate tendrils of rose tinted smoke drifting
through their inner spaces, as with ourselves there is more to them then
first meets the eye. The silver petals adorning the outer corners of the
Goddess Light Within pendant are subtle homage to Sumerian priestesses
and goddess statues that were often adorned with silver and gold facsimiles
of leaf and blossom.
